A lesson in Sequels
April 19th, 2008 by Karen
Remember Charlie the Unicorn? Remember how it was pretty much funny mostly if you’re in the right mood for it?
There’s a sequel now.
I’m so sorry.
The lesson? Don’t make a sequel to something that was ok unless you originally planned on making a sequel.

I actually liked Charlie Part 2 better. The special effects were more polished, it had a deeper story and I liked the surreal twisted homage to Sesame Street. The Banana King Song also had a hint of Dr. Suess and brought back memories of Green Eggs and Ham. At least poor Charlie didn’t have his kidney removed this time but it was a bummer that stole his T.V. and other stuff. Looking forward to part 3. Homestar Runner better watch out as he has some serious competition.
O_e By god that was the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.
…and I loved it.
I liked the first one better, but this one was okay. Guess I was hoping for another missing organ in the end!
My ears are bleeding
They planned on making a sequel.
I’m afraid Charlie has jumped the shark with the second episode. The good news I can still play Charlie Episode I (A New Hope) repeatedly and still get a good laugh.
