Paton Oswalt did a bit about this song a while back. You can see it on youtube. I do agree, manipulative songs like this are the worst.

I think you put more thought into this post that than the producer put into the stupid movie. There are several Christmas songs that I hate. This year it was “Baby It’s Cold Outside”. I think the station we listened to played it by 20 different artists in an hour.
