Tying the Untieable Knot

Here are some pretty neat instructions on how to quickly create a knot that’s virtually untieable … perfect for pranks:

(if you can’t see the video, click here)

Sure, the constructor knot is meant for boats and other heavy-duty uses … but you’ll probably have much more fun if you use it to tie a friend’s shoes together.

Ouches. I’d hate to be the poor sap who has to replace his shoelaces after cutting them off thanks to that doozy of a knot!

hahahahah , big f-in deal! The creator of this video must have quite a lame life. Wow, make a video for us when you learn how to put your pants on correctly too.

Knots can be untied. . . idiots.

Make me a video of a one-handed gordian knot or your friends kicking your ass, then I’ll be impressed.

These knots (both being the same) are simply clove hitch knots. They are very easy to tie and also very easy to untie. Any Boy Scout (my dorky self included) could tell you that.

P.S. The first knot in the video is a square knot.

El nudo que no se puede desatar…

Este nudo es muy difícil de deshacer utilizando cabos gruesos, y con paciencia. Si usamos un hilo fino de pescar, o las zapatillas de un ex-amigo/a… la única forma de librarse de él es cortando….
