Japan’s Infamous Spam Sandwich
June 12th, 2007 by Anita Bath
A couple months ago, Bunk sent me this advertisement for a Spam Sandwich sold at Freshness Burger, a very popular fast food chain in Japan and South Korea:

For about $4 U.S., you can have a big hunk of spam, lettuce, tomato, and an over-easy egg. So yummy, you’ll go “Boing” when you eat it.
Anyone know if Freshness Burger still sells Spam Sandwiches?

and I thought SPAM was only an email / blogging issue to deal with. SPAM is worse than EVER!
But THIS spam goes BOING!
(Just wait, here come the Monty Python commentaries… you can hear ‘em… coconut shells in the distance… coming this way… Take cover.)
In Austin, MN (The home of Hormel and also the Spam museum) the local Culvers restaurant serves spam burgers. Culvers are all over the midwest, but the one in Austin is the only one I’ve seen that serves spam burgers.
How does SPAM go BOING? That makes me nervous.
What does ‘over easy’ mean?
Thak you for the news
