Notice Anything Strange About this Picture?
March 20th, 2007 by Anita Bath

I must be slow - it just looked like a random street picture to me at first. A friend had to point out the folks in the upper right. I wonder how they walk sideways like that?

It’s kind of strange that Art Bell is there! (the guy in the middle looks like Art Bell)
It’s almost like an Escher print.
HAHA! That’s pretty cool! I wonder how they taught that bird at the top of the picture to walk on a wall sideways?
(it’s a joke, laugh…)
Loved it…
That reminds me (sort of in a lose way) of the guy that does the 3 dimensional sidewalk chalk drawings…

i really like your web log!!! yours are great! i am lonnie’s student.you know this guy, right?
welcome to go to my blog. www.carlosmacau.wordpress.com
good idea.
I like that… very good!
That’s cool.
The giveaway should be the graffiti; when would spraypainters use the ground and leave the wall blank?
Well, I suppose there’s a first time for everything.
That is very cool! Street art.
I was thinking of the 3D sidewalk drawing guy myself.
But this is far less intensive and very low tech. Which makes it that much more creative! Without using any fancy equipment or even talent (just turning a camera sideways isn’t exactly thought intensive) you can create something that’s visually stunning like this!
Well done by the creators of this one!
thats pretty cool.. the guy reading the newspaper and the guys next to him are laying on the ground
http://mi3ch.livejournal.com/933885.html#cutid1 has some similar pictures, but much better done, IMO
That’s good you have an opinion DJsunkid. Those are photoshopped, though, so there is a big difference.
That Art Bell comment cracked me up!
WoW. What a great picture, at first I did not realize what was so special then i thought that was pretty amazing and unique.
Idea of the picture is not very new and something special, but these guys made it look easy, so they got a bonus.
By the way, action takes place in Russia.
a clip from a brazilian band, that uses the same principle

It is result of a brilliantly simple idea practiced to perfection!!! This is probably n-th snap they took before publishing.
But, Three times hats-off to the guy having the “tangent look capability”.
Reminds me of a saying, that goes something like — “You see only what you are looking for”.
Also look at the keyring hanging from pocket of beared man reading newspaper.
It’s too good for temptation to resist admire this snap.
1. Imagine this place in a photo without these three guys …
2. See the newspaper … its top portion falling (folding) as gavity would take it. Yes, you can fold the paper otherwise also.
3. The trees in background!!!
but but but all these are after thoughts - what matters is the first attraction or distraction this image generates,
Thanks to all those in the chain to bring it to public.
Actually this image tells the power of “Stumble” as opposed to the power of “Google”.
So what do you want to do today (most of the days) - Google or Stumble
yea it was crap
pretty cool.by the way, Mexico has weapons of mass destruction.
I love this picture. I wish I could have been a passerby to see that…
