Bored at Home?

If you’re bored and looking for something random and crafty to keep you occupied, particularly if you have kids, here’s an idea:

Homemade Moose

These pictures were created by Geoffrey Cottenceau as a graduate design project at ECAL (Switzerland). I obviously chose the wrong major in college.

Homemade ostrich costume

What’s fun is that every creature was made using common household objects: socks, shoes, golf balls, gloves, tights/stockings, a pillow, and a sleeping bag.

Homemade squirrel costume

Oh, and flippers:

Homemade seal costume

In lieu of flippers, you could always just curl up in the sleeping bag and be a slug or worm. I’m getting pretty good at that one.

I just stepped out of the shower before viewing these awesome photos. I fear I must step back in because I wet my pants laughing so hard. I provide daycare in my home and maybe you can guess what we’re doing nest week!
