A one horsepower Russian car

If you thought your car was underpowered, check out this one horsepower Russian car. Apparently the sign indicates that it is parked in front of an insurance company, presumably for repair assessments. Although … it is Russia, so maybe they were just looking for a good rate. I wonder if you get a discount for using animals for propulsion?

Anyone have any good car stories?

The radiator hose on my car exploded (and I mean EXPLODED) this summer while I was on my way back to MN for school. Unfortunately there were no horses to hitch it to and I had to spend the night in beautiful Kadoka, SD. The ironic thing is that I noticed the temperature gauge rising and was going to pull off at the next exit to let it cool down. I got to the next exit and was slowing down to pull off when I heard a thud under the hood and saw steam billowing out.

Do they sit on the horse or in the car?

Cameron – that stinks. The same thing happened to me in Michigan 5 years ago. I had to walk 3 miles on the highway in 10 degree weather until some creapy guy picked me up. I was so cold I didn’t have a choice, it was another 6 miles to the closest exit (I didn’t yet have a cell phone).

Nessa – they probably walk beside it, or maybe even help push. I hear one horsepower isn’t what it used to be.
